Single issue of this underground newspaper from Seattle, serving as an example of the transition of underground newspapers into what would be known as the alternative press. This issue embraces counterculture topics, while also publishing several pieces alleging that the CIA was smuggling heroin into the US. A few small pieces on Vietnam are present, as well as the fourth article in a series on the transformation of Dr. Richard Alpert into Baba Ram Dass, written by Bhagwan Dass. GOOD condition. Mailing label to the Chicago Seed on the upper front cover, along with a postage stamp. Moderate toning and light wrinkling.
