Side folding tabloid newspaper. 36 pp. The Gay People's Chronicle was founded in 1985, originally focusing on the gay community in and around Cleveland, Ohio, but expanding its distribution to serve parts of Kentucky, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. It ceased publication in 2015. This issue with local news and events involving the gay community; an article on the People of Colors group (a group "of minorities who had ties with Cleveland's Lesbian-Gay Community Service Center and the feminist group SOAR") and their attempt to explain, through public discussion, why many in the group don't use the center, feeling "used, abused and insulted by the 'well-intentioned' white folks; an article on transsexuals challenging the MIchigan Festival's "womyn-born womyn" policy ; many ads, etc. GOOD+ condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Minor toning and soiling.
