An account of the author's sailing trip in the South Pacific Ocean, ranging from Panama to Tahiti to the southern part of Chile. The voyage took place in a 70 foot brigantine, the Varua, with several storms and gales encountered along the way. GOOD jacket on a VERY GOOD book. Moderate toning to the jacket, especially along the spine. Minor soiling and scuffing. Several chips and tears along the extremities, with some associated creasing. Light fading and edgewear to the book. Light toning to the text block.
