Side folding tabloid newspaper. 12 pp. Black and white photos throughout. An early underground newspaper devoted to social and political reform in the Oakland, California region (and beyond). This issue looks at police brutality and the need for police reform; contains a one page photo spread of Huelga Day in San Francisco on July 9th, documenting protestors and their march; several pages devoted to issues relating to Mexican-Americans, etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. General toning. 1 ½ inch chip/tear at the upper fore edge margin of the cover. Minor soiling.
