A decorative edition of this classic work by Sir Walter Scott, bearing a mauchline tartanware binding and albumen photos. GOOD condition. Minor scuffing and soiling to the covers. Heavy scuffing to the leather along the spine. Rear hinge split along its length, with a chip missing from the head of the spine. Interior hinge cracked and separated between the first and second endpaper. Text block toned with minor scattered foxing. Slight mothball odor when opened.
