Printed wraps. A long running little magazine focusing on art, literature and politics, that during the 1950s and 60s, was supported by funds from the CIA through its front, The American Committee for Cultural Freedom. This issue with a piece by Andre Malraux; an essay by Vladimir Nabokov, "On Translating Pushkin;" poetry by Theodore Roethke and others. GOOD condition. Heavy toning and superficial silverfish wear to the covers, mostly along the spine and hinges. Some soiling and staining. Wrappers curled and creased at the corners.
