This includes an anthology of his writings and speeches relating to civil rights, Black struggles for equality in America, fighting against Jim Crow, a memoriam on Medgar Evers, etc. This copy from the collection of Zelma George, who served as an advisor to President Eisenhower's administration, an alternate delegate to the UN General Assembly, and served on the executive council of the American Society of African Culture, among various other roles. Signed by her on the cover and contents page. With many annotations, underlines and highlights by her in a few articles. GOOD condition. Minor soiling, fading, wrinkling and toning to the covers.
