The Tribe embraced more radical and left-wing causes. This issue with a full page collage art ad for a march in New Haven to free Bobby Seale and Ericka Huggins of the Black Panthers, as well as other political prisoners; sort pieces on prison guards in Florida shooting 47 prisoners; a not guilty verdict for the police who killed James Rector; a full page on International Women's Day; a half page ad for a Revolutionary Intercommunal Day of Solidarity for Bobby Seale, Angela Davis, Ericka Huggins and Ruchell Magee, with the event also featuring music of the Grateful Dead.
