A left-wing underground paper from Atlanta, Georgia, founded by student activists from various local organizations. It was published from 1968 to 1976. This issue with some news of the Chicago convention protests; news of 160 Black soldiers refusing to serve as riot control in Chicago; protests in Watts after police used excessive force on an intoxicated Black woman; news on the trial motions of Black Panther leader Huey Newton; a two page centerfold interview with Jimi Hendrix; an interview with civil rights activist Cleveland Sellers, recalling his experiences in the Orangeburg Massacre by police and describing his time in prison, among other subjects. GOOD condition. General toning and browning. Minor wrinkling and creasing. Moderate chipping and tearing along the extremities.
