Brown cloth decorated in blind. 254 pp. A collection of poetry by Harriett Ellen Grannis Arey, a 19th century author and educator, teaching at schools in Wisconsin, Ohio, as well as publishing work in a variety of newspapers. She graduated from Oberlin in 1837. GOOD condition. Faded ring stains to the covers, with some scuffing, minor soiling and spotting. Extremities bumped and worn. Scattered foxing in the interior. A few lines underlined in ink, with several stray notes.
