Blue paper covered boards with black cloth spine, in unclipped photo illustrated jacket. 75 pp. An account by third officer William Endicott (aboard the Glide) of several months lived on the island of Vanua Levu in Fiji, after a shipwreck in 1831. He talks about the natives, as well as giving a short vocabulary of their language. FAIR jacket on a GOOD book. Heavy soiling, spotting and staining to the jacket. Moderate darkening. Large tear/chip to the lower edge, with a few other chips and tears along the extremities. Minor toning and edgewear to the book. Heavy offsetting and foxing to the first and last few pages.
