A history of the Isles of Shoals off the coast of New Hampshire, primarily reconstructed through paintings, drawings and maps and accompanied by text. With some focus on Celia Thaxter and the art community she and her circle fostered on the islands. GOOD condition. Minor fading to the covers. Scuff/scrape to the surface of the lower front corner. Minor stain to the center front edge near the spine. Large, faint dampstain to the rear cover, resulting in minor rippling to the last several pages.
