Single issue of this long running underground newspaper from Berkeley, California, using a blend of counterculture, politics and sex ads to achieve success. This issue with a piece on a firebombing of a White Panther Party member's house on Page Street, alleging the police were responsible for the attack through use of grenades and gunfire; a piece on the trial of revolutionary Cynthia Garvey; news on the Grey Panthers; a full page on a large poetry reading, including Allen Ginsberg and Gary Snyder (with photos of both); a lengthy piece on the infamous Rolling Stones concert at Altamont; underground comix by Regg King and Ripp, etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Eastbay Liberation Information Center stamp on the upper front cover. Minor toning and soiling. Light wrinkling and edgewear, with some chipping and tearing.
