Single sheets, thin card stock. 8 by 13 ¼ inches. Printed on single sides only. Two duplicates and one a variation. Menus list breakfasts and luncheons, with color illustrated banners across the top quarter. Includes two luncheon menus for April 4, 1969; two breakfast menus for April 9, these with different illustrations at the top; breakfast for April 11, 1969; and luncheon for April 13, 1969. The S.S. Nieuw Amsterdam was built in 1937, using state of the art technologies and incorporating lavish Art Deco themes in its designs. Although not built with any military capacity, the ship was used to transport troops during World War II. After declining use, it was decommissioned in 1974. VERY GOOD condition. Minor toning, with some offsetting to the reverse of several. Some scuffing and curling along the extremities.
