Imperialism: an Exchange. American Imperialism and the Peace Movement; Socialism-the Sustaining Menace.

Ann Arbor: Radical Education Project, Publisher. Wraps. Good. Item #015399
ISBN: noisbn

no date, presumed late 1960s. Yellow printed wraps. Two articles originally published in "Studies on the Left, May-June 1966." Wolfe's essay examines the lack of a clear definition of imperialism as used by the radical left in the United States, and uses various Marxist theories to attempt to clarify the term and its relation to the peace movement. Aronson argues that socialism and communism are somewhat of a mythical threat used by those in power in the United States and the military-industrial complex, to justify a wartime economy that supports US capitalism. GOOD condition. Uneven fading. Minor soiling and a few small spots to the covers. Old price inked out in red. Minor curling and scuffing along the extremities.

Price: $15.00
