A single issue of this long running underground newspaper from Berkeley, California, using a blend of counterculture, politics and sex ads to achieve success. This with a front cover comix by Stratton and Hennick with the quote "keep on truckin'" and a man evolving into the yin yang symbol. Issue includes an interview with Lescallet of the Siete Brothers; a piece on Bobby Seale of the Black Panthers at his New Haven trial; a piece on Ruchell Magee and a hearing in San Quentin; a discussion of the year anniversary of the Native American occupation of Alcatraz; an article on 1179 people of the Gay Liberation Front signing up to move to alpine country; a small blurb, with photo, on Black Sabbath and their debut album, etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Moderate browning and soiling. Minor chipping and tearing along the extremities.
