Single issue of this long running underground newspaper from Berkeley, California, using a blend of counterculture, politics and sex ads to achieve success. This issue with short pieces on college protests at San Francisco State and Columbia; big business trying to stop a black boycott; the first part of a piece by Timothy Leary "How Merry Jerry's Yip Stopped the War," accompanied by a nicely illustrated full page anti-war poster; a full page musing on Thomas Jefferson by American animator and creator of Gumby, Arthur Clokey (with a small Gumby illustration), etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Moderate toning. Minor soiling and staining. Light wrinkling and edgewear, with some chips.
