Jet was noted for its documentation of the Civil Rights movement and the murder of Emmett Till. This issue with several small articles on civil rights struggles, including police brutality and continued discrimination; a piece on Black Panther Party Bobby Seale and his return to jail facing a murder charge; a piece on the refusal of Michigan governor to not extradite noted black power leader Robert Williams to North Carolina; the clash between black students and whites over the continued display of the rebel flag, etc. GOOD condition. Mailing label on the front cover. General toning, minor soiling, scuffing and wrinkling. Some scuffing and curling along the extremities.
