Dayton, OH: Amaranth Energies, Publisher. Tabloid. Good. Item #015135
no date, perhaps circa 1970, 71. Side folding tabloid newspaper format, with two color covers. 16 pp. While a publisher's byline in the interior confusingly states "We are not an underground paper, a counter-culture paper, a revolutionary paper, or a propaganda sheet. The Razzberry Radicle is.," the Razzberry appears to be exactly that, containing underground comix, counterculture news, anti-war news, political news, etc., while using an aesthetic reminiscent to 19th century fonts and imagery. This issue with a piece on the women's liberation movement in Dayton, Ohio, morality in art, Earth news (pondering environment and ecology), a full page on radical medicine or drugs, several underground comix. This includes a full page The Continuing Story of God by Dennis Harper and Peter the Pumpkin Presents Tales of the Revolution by Jim Horning. GOOD condition. Mailing label present (sent to the Chicago Seed). Horizontal fold crease, moderate toning and moderate chipping along the extremities. Minor tattering and loss at the upper front corner.
