A study of the Psalter of Queen Isabella of England, a sister to the Tickhall Psalter and an example of an English Gothic manuscript from the early 14th century. This includes a history of its origin, a bibliographical study of the manuscript, etc. GOOD+ condition. Uneven toning to the wrappers. Minor soiling and edgewear.
