Side folding tabloid format newspaper. 8 pp. A few black and white photos and illustrations throughout. Single issue of this long running underground newspaper from Berkeley, California, using a blend of counterculture, politics and sex ads to achieve success. This issue with a lengthy article on police provocation and violence against the East Bay Dragons, a black motorcycle club originally founded in Oakland. Also present is a chapter from a novel by Jose Souto-Martinez "Between the Campus and Indian Rock." Short articles on protests and counterculture present (nude beaches, etc.). GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Large chip/tear and associated creasing at the top edge of the front page. Minor toning and soiling. A few small chips and tears along the extremities.
