A primarily visual history of the monumental and catastrophic flooding in New Hampshire in 1936, especially along the Merrimack and Pemigewasset Rivers. This includes photos of Manchester, Nashua, Franklin and Concord regions of New Hampshire, accompanied by short descriptive captions. The Flood of 1936 affected a large portion of the Eastern United States in March of that year, when two weeks of extremely heavy rains burst dams and washed away homes and businesses. VERY GOOD condition. Minor toning and soiling.
