Wraps. Black and white illustrations throughout. A single issue of this magazine featuring fiction, essays and historical and travel articles. This issue with chapters 15 and 16 of "The Mysterious Island," by Jules Verne (illustrated); a poem "Foreboding," by Celia Thaxter; an article on life in Kentucky and Tennessee; rambles in Madeira, etc. GOOD condition. Moderate to heavy uneven fading and toning to the wrappers, with several areas of faint discoloration and dampstaining. Heavy chipping and tearing along the extremities, with loss of wrapper at the head and tail of the spine and edges of the rear cover. 3 inch jagged tear to the center of the rear cover. Paper toned in the interior.
