Photocopied zine, single staple at the upper left hand corner. 8 ½ by 11 inches. 16 pp., including covers. Poorly reproduced photos throughout. Jon Ginoli founded Hoopla in 1977, and went on to perform in a few punk rock acts, perhaps most notably Pansy Division a queercore band within the punk genre (see Wikipedia). This issue primarily devoted to rock acts, instead of punk, including Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Peter Tork of the Monkees at CBGBs, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, etc. One article, devoted to ugly bands, discusses The Darned, Mother Humpers, and Guttersnipe. GOOD+ condition. Minor browning. Light creasing at the corners.
