Started in 1967 by the then 12 year old Jon Tiven, New Haven Rock Press was an early rock music fanzine. Mentioned among 'friends of the magazine' is Nick Tosches, who would go on to become a noted rock journalist. This issue with early coverage of the New York Dolls, noting that they are a band to see live, but questioning what their musical legacy will be. Also present is an interview with Pink Floyd, a piece on Small Faces, etc. GOOD+ condition. Fading present along the spine and extremities. Minor soiling/staining to the upper left front corner. Minor curling along the corners.
