Blue cloth, presumably rebound, with gilt dedication to the library from where these were deaccessioned. Folios. 352, 285 pp. Color plates throughout. All plates present as called for in the two volumes. Color plates done by James H. Emerton and C. E. Faxon. A natural history and survey of the various species of ferns found throughout North America. By Daniel Cady Eaton, an American botanist, as well as curator and professor of botany at Yale. GOOD condition. EX-LIBRARY. Faint markings on the spines, with scattered library stamping in the interiors. Gilt dedication on the front cover of each volume. General fading, soiling and scuffing to the covers, with several small areas of spotting and staining, including a few white paint spots. Cloth split and torn along the center rear hinge of volume one. Minor toning in the interiors.
