Illustrated wraps. 11 ¾ by 8 ¼ inches. 16 pp., including covers. Black and white comics throughout. First issue of this comics zine, apparently published in an edition of 250 copies. Produced by Helen McCookerybook, a British musician, being the lead singer and bassist for the punk band The Chefs during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The zine contains comics by various authors/artists, lampooning Teddy Boys, punk wardrobes and a variety of other topics. Includes work by Andrea Chappelle, Dahlia Watson and Helen McCookerybook. GOOD+ condition. Minor toning, soiling and wrinkling. Minor creasing at the lower corner. (Mark Jay Collection).
