A look at the various celebrations in New York, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the state, including some history of various military actions both against British and Native Americans. With chapters on Kingston, Oriskany, Bemus Heights, Schuylerville (in honor of Burgoyne's surrender), Cherry Valley, etc. GOOD condition. Moderate fading and scuffing, with some soiling and minor staining. Cloth split, frayed and worn along the hinges and corners. Interior hinges cracked and separating, with the covers somewhat tenuously attached. Minor toning to the text block.
