Blue printed wraps. Oblong quarto. Second issue of this magazine devoted to art, design and culture, the intersection of arts and society, and the philosophy behind it. Only three issues of this magazine were published, from 1950-52, with an editorial in the first issue asserting that the magazine "affirms that art, science and technology are interacting components of the total human enterprise." (see Allen, Artists' Magazines p. 306). Masthead lists Marcel Duchamp and Le Corbusier among consulting editors. With essays by Willem De Kooning, Margaret Mead, Jose Luis Sert and others. GOOD condition. Moderate fading and scuffing. Minor soiling. Rear cover with moderate staining and toning.
