Color illustrated front wrap, with a cut out revealing a color illustration of a house beneath. Quarto. Unpaginated. Black and white illustrations throughout, as well as a few black and white photos. These comprise of two leaves DETACHED and laid in at the center. All text in French. A catalog promoting the house made of plastic by Ionel Schein, with the prototype unveiled in 1956. The house featured collaborative efforts incorporating plastics in the interior as well. It appears that the house did not get past the prototype stage. Ionel Schein was a Romanian born French architect, considered an innovator in the use of synthetics in building. FAIR/GOOD condition, with two leaves apparently DETACHED. Moderate to heavy browning to the covers, especially along the extremities. Some chipping/tearing along the edges of the front cover cut out. Minor soiling and staining. Heavy curling along the extremities. Minor toning in the interior.
