Decorative wraps. Single issue of this magazine for a juvenile audience. This month features a story by Rudyard Kipling, "The King's Ankus," part of the Jungle Book (or Stories) series. Also present is another part of Jack Ballister's Fortunes, written and illustrated by Howard Pyle, and another part of The Brownies Through the Union Series, (this time in Texas), a series written and illustrated by Palmer Cox. GOOD condition. Heavy chipping, tearing and creasing along the lower cover edges, with a one inch piece peeling off. Small address label on the front cover. Minor toning and soiling. Wrappers split, chipped and torn along the spine and fore edge.
