ISBN: noisbn

Printed wraps. 203 pp., plus a few pages of ads. Several full page black and white illustrations present. Double columned text. A novel by the English journalist and author, Eliza Lynn Linton. Despite her success as an early female journalist and novelist, Linton was known for her strong anti-feminist stance, asserting she would have rather have been the wife of a famous man, rather than famous herself (see Wikipedia). GOOD condition. Heavy uneven browning and fading to the covers. Some soiling, spotting and foxing to the covers. Faint owner's signature across the top front cover. Heavy chipping and creasing to the wrappers along the spine, with loss at the head and tail. Corners and fore edges of the wrappers chipped, with some loss. Minor toning in the interior.
