A collection of essays and reports generated by a Quaker led conference on war and economics (social order), discussing capitalism, industry, labor and other concerns, often leaning toward Socialist ideals, and finding capitalism the root of war and social ills. With a section of essays on a conceptual "New Town" that discusses a town of the future's ideal layout and how that would alleviate much of the concerns of the Quakers' in regard to economic injustice. GOOD condition. Uneven browning, fading and toning to the wrappers. Minor wrinkling and foxing. Minor toning to the text block.
