Primarily a collection of photographs of the various regions of the Himalaya Mountains, accompanied by a short intro by Sir Edmund Hillary and explanatory text by the photographer, Yoshikazu Shirakawa. Primarily color photos, several fold out. Regions include the Nepal, Punjab, Sikkim and Hindu Kish areas of the Himalayas. GOOD condition. Heavy fading, some scuffing, soiling and staining to the case, with fraying along its extremities. Minor scuffing, fading and soiling to the dust jacket, with a hint of foxing. Light foxing and soiling to the book covers. Moderate foxing along the top 2 inches of the first several pages in the interior.
