With a red cloth tape spine, presumed added to reinforce the binding and not original. Unpaginated, containing twelve pairs of identical images, facing each other, one colored and one plain, with blank pages between each set. Plus title leaf. A painting/coloring book featuring the many characters from the Peter Rabbit series by Beatrix Potter, with images and captions by Potter, followed by plain examples in which children could mimic the originals. FAIR condition. Heavy scuffing and bumping along the extremities. Minor fading. Some tearing along the front hinge of the glassine jacket, with minor scuffing. Red cloth tape along the spine. Book cracked and separating along the interior front hinge, slightly less so along the rear hinge. Child's haphazard crayon coloring to some drawings, inside covers throughout, as well as a few doodles and lines.
