Large, side stapled pamphlet. 7 pp. A statement to British officials present to the Houses of Parliament, in which the German counterintelligence operator, Horst von der Goltz, details his actions and role in the conspiracy to blow up locks in the Erie Canal system, a plan which was not executed. Goltz names his fellow conspirators, as well as action prior to and following the aborted sabotage. With appendices providing addressess of associates, as well as contents of telegrams. Horst von der Goltz was detained for most of World War I by British officials, under suspicion of being a spy working for Germany. GOOD condition. Two horizontal fold creases present. Paper toned. Minor soiling and wrinkling.
