Printed blue wraps, MISSING rear wrapper. 16 pp. Quarto. A speech by Wilson McCandless welcoming John Quincy Adams to Pittsburgh, reflecting on Adams' career and service to the country. With a short speech by Adams responding in thanks. POOR condition. Rear wrapper missing. Piece is very tenuously holding together, with some pages loose, and the front cover barely attached to the rest. Horizontal and vertical fold creases present, with heavy creasing and wrinkling. Moderate to heavy dark scuffing and soiling, with some staining, including heavy ink stains to the front wrapper. . Chipping and tearing along the extremities, especially to the front wrap. Overall very heavy wear.
