Quarter leather with marbled boards. A-c4, 1-992, 1-656, (38) pp. With an illustrated frontispiece, as well as a fold out chart. All text in Latin, with some printing in Hebrew throughout. A study and apparent partial printing of the Bible, with most text in Latin, although Hebrew text is found throughout. This includes a philological study, accents and accentuation in Hebrew books of the Bible and other commentary (see entry #58 in Bibliotheca Sussexiana by Augustus Frederick, where the author questions whether this should have been included in his list). Georg Christoph Dachsel was a German theologist and Hebraist, or scholar of Hebrew (McClintock and Strong Biblical Cyclopedia). GOOD condition, ex-theological institution library. Spine label, interior bookplates, and minor library treatments present. Leather split along the entire length of the hinges, with some flaking and loss. Paper covered boards scuffed, with some fading and edgewear. Interior clean and solid.
