With approximately 20 other reports, member lists, lists of financial or business related matters relating to the group, etc. The leaflets discuss topics ranging from strikes, temperance legislation in the United States, profit sharing, state protection of children, the aged poor, methods of industrial peace, life in West London, etc. The Christian Social Union was a social group associated with the Church of England. Established in 1889, the group studied social conditions of its times, with the aim of alleviating social injustices such as poverty and other related social ills. The group merged with the Industrial Christian Fellowship in 1919. Condition of the pieces range from GOOD or better. Some are very brittle, with extensive chipping, tearing and loss of margins. General browning to the pieces. Some soiling. A few pieces with minor notations.
