Brown paper covered boards with a small, centered pastedown illustration. Brown cloth spine. 47 pp., plus 12 color plates tipped in on thin black cardstock paper. A collections of songs, with lyrics and music, from the Book of Katherine's Friends by Emily Niles Huyck. With color illustrations by Helen Therese Damrosch, an American illustrator who served as an artist on 13 expeditions with the Tropical Research Dept. of the New York Zoological Society. This includes sketching underwater on zinc plates. She also illustrated several books (see archiveswest website). GOOD condition with heavy scuffing and bumping to the extremities, resulting in some loss of paper. General scuffing and fading to the book, with minor soiling. Interior solid, with the paper toned.
