A collection of several writings by Arndt, including his popular 'True Christianity' that explores the 'mystical union between believer and Christ,' (Wikipedia), while correcting some aspects of reformation theology (also from Wikipedia). Johann Arndt was a 16th century German theologian, writing on many aspects of Christianity, with his work being republished often after his death. GOOD condition. Minor to moderate soiling and scattered staining/discoloration to the covers. Vellum rather toned in general. Extremities bumped and scuffed. Endpapers soiled, with some staining. Ownership signature present. General toning and minor scattered soiling to the text block.
