George Dureau was an American artist noted for his depictions of athletes, amputees and others, serving as an influence on the work of Robert Mapplethorpe (see Wikipedia). GOOD jacket on a VERY GOOD book. Small yellowed square from an old price sticker on the lower front cover. Some wrinkling, general toning and minor soiling to the jacket.
