New York: J.B. Neumann, Publisher. Wraps. Very Good. Item #009479
ISBN: noisbn

no date, presumed mid 1900s. Brown stiff wraps. First volume of the Art Lover's Library. Unpaginated. Small black and white reproductions of the art of Rodolphe Bresdin throughout. Primarily a visual checklist to various works by Bresdin, preceded by a one page introduction and a laid in sheet discussing the misfortune of Bresdin's work being overlooked and asking for photos of more of his work. Rodolphe Bresdin was a 19th century French engraver, producing works in a somewhat fantasy genre, and gaining interest from Baudelaire and others (Wikipedia). VERY GOOD condition. Minor scuffing and edgewear to the covers. Light toning in the interior, with perhaps a very faint musty odor.
