All present as called for. All text in French. A catalog of work by the painter Henri Rousseau, preceded by a biography and critical look at his work. Henri Rousseau was a French post-Impressionist painter, whose work reflected a naive aesthetic. While not critically accepted at first, his work served to influence many artists in the later avant-garde movements of the 20th century. GOOD condition. Heavy browning along the cover extremities, with moderate foxing, minor soiling and staining. Minor splitting and chipping along the head and tail of the spine. Light bumping and edgewear. Paper toned in the interior. Light scattered foxing.
