Printed wraps. 13 pp. A study of 'two approaches to Jewish culture in America: the bourgeois-nationalist and the working-class internationalist,' asserting that the latter is correct, and 'based on the class conscious Jewish worker and seeks to unite Jew and non-Jew against anti-Semitism,' (see Seidman S31 for aforementioned quotes). Morris Schappes was an educator at the City College of New York, who was charged with perjury for his testimony regarding Communist associates at the school and in the New York educational system. A member of the Communist Party, he also served as editor of the magazine Jewish Life (or Jewish Currents). GOOD condition. Minor toning, soiling and creasing to the piece.
