One of 125 copies. Brown paper covered boards. 41 pp., plus four black and white photos in the rear. A short work providing a brief history of the club and its members, as well as providing a chronologically arranged descriptive list of events. This includes menus, actions of members, etc. With a card laid in stating 'With A.E. Gallatin's Compliments,' Gallatin being one of the founders and president of the club. This is presumably Albert Eugene Gallatin, descendent of the founder of New York University and a noted art collector, a painter and enthusiast of modern and avant-garde art, as well as a member of the Societe Anonyme. (see Phillips Collection website for biographical information). VERY GOOD condition. Minor bowing to the covers along the fore edge. Light fading, soiling and scuffing, with two small, superficial indents to the rear cover. Minor soiling and foxing along the page edges. Very light scattered foxing in the fore edge margins of a few pages.
