Reddish brown cloth in dust jacket. Small folio. 304 pp. Black and white photos throughout, as well as a section of color photos in the front. A detailed study of the paper cut outs executed by Henri Matisse in the latter part of his career, offering commentary on the various works by Matisse, as well as a discussion of his technique, intent and philosophies. With photos of Matisse in process, etc. GOOD condition. Moderate soiling and some staining to the jacket, with some dark scuffing as well. Rubbing, fading and edgewear present to the jacket. General fading to the book, heaviest along the extremities Minor soiling and scuffing. Interior clean and solid with minor toning to the paper.
