Cory. Mary Austin was an American author, known for her depictions of the life and landscape of the Southwest, being one of the first to offer a literary glimpses of the region. Another article of note details the career of steeple climbing, explaining the dangers and thrills involved for those who repaired steeples, flag poles and other objects in town/city skylines. With several illustrations. GOOD+ condition. Minor darkening and a hint of soiling to the wraps. Two small stains along the front hinge where the staples are. Minor chipping and tearing along the extremities. Interior clean and solid with faint stippling to the paper at the upper corner.
