Side stapled magazine. Approximately 8 1/2 by 11 inches. LACKING outer wraps. Pagination runs 59-104. With many black and white illustrations of various ladies' fashions. This includes capes, shirts, dresses, boys and girls clothing, hats, etc. Primarily a catalog for patterns issued by the Butterick company, with illustrations of each item of clothing accompanied by pattern number and detailed text descriptions, all depicting the current fashions of the day. Also of note are two pages of knitting and crochet patterns (lace knitting) as well as a section of simple recipes for sandwiches, sauces and ices. GOOD condition, lacking outer wraps. Paper toned, with some offsetting along the extremities. Minor creasing along the extremities. 3/4 inch chip missing from the upper margin of the last page.
