All page edges gilt. 352 pp. With full page reproductions of the drawings of Damien Hirst. A catalog to an exhibition of the drawings of Damien Hirst, presenting his preliminary sketches and ideas for works, both finished and unfinished, many with annotations by Hirst. With a short critical essays by Annuska Shani and A.A. Gill. Damien Hirst, a British artist, is associated with the group known as the Young British Artists and known for his installations and sculptures reflecting on mortality and death. VERY GOOD book. Minor scuffing and soiling to the covers. Top front corner bumped. Small superficial abrasion to the first free endpaper in the upper hinge. The box for the book is in GOOD condition, with general scuffing, some soiling and two tears along the top hinge, both about 1 ½ inches in length. Upper right corner bumped and creased.
